Much darker irl and smelly as fuck!

Market lady told me it came from the Mali people, out of Africa. The lighter spots are part of a tie-dye pattern.

Hands turned dark blue from handling it, so I tried to fixate it in warm water with a tablespoon of salt and vinegar. Twisted the whole thing up into a knot so it wouldn't be such a straight piece, twisted it again afterward to squeeze as much water out as possible, and then let it hang dry...
